Who Are The Real Terrorists? / I Don’t Buy Into Your War on Terror

Aren’t you getting weary of all this crap?

The last few years we have been living with this stupid “War on Terror” BS streaming in on our Internet and TV screens.  I tell you, I don’t buy it.

First of all, what is terrorism?  Well, the trusty ol’ Wikipedia has this definition:

Terrorism is the systematic use of terror, especially as a means of coercion. In the international community, however, terrorism has no universally agreed, legally binding, criminal law definition.[1][2] Common definitions of terrorism refer only to those violent acts which are intended to create fear (terror), are perpetrated for a religious, political or, ideological goal; and deliberately target or disregard the safety of non-combatants (civilians). Some definitions now include acts of unlawful violence and war. The use of similar tactics by criminal organizations for protection rackets or to enforce a code of silence is usually not labeled terrorism though these same actions may be labeled terrorism when done by a politically motivated group.

The word “terrorism” is politically and emotionally charged,[3] and this greatly compounds the difficulty of providing a precise definition. Studies have found over 100 definitions of “terrorism”.[4][5] The concept of terrorism may itself be controversial as it is often used by state authorities (and individuals with access to state support) to delegitimize political or other opponents,[6] and potentially legitimize the state’s own use of armed force against opponents (such use of force may itself be described as “terror” by opponents of the state).[6][7]

Terrorism has been practiced by a broad array of political organizations for furthering their objectives. It has been practiced by both right-wing and left-wing political parties, nationalistic groups, religious groups, revolutionaries, and ruling governments.[8] An abiding characteristic is the indiscriminate use of violence against noncombatants for the purpose of gaining publicity for a group, cause, or individual. The symbolism of terrorism can leverage human fear to help achieve these goals. [9]

Added to the first question, we must ask:

Who the Hades are the real terrorists?

Admitted, there may be groups out there that use violence to further their aims, for a political cause, against the will of the government(s), I would put this out to you:

Governments and corporations themselves are the biggest terrorists.

They engage in “the systematic use of terror, especially as a means of coercion.”  They employ these “violent acts which are intended to create fear (terror), are perpetrated for a religious, political or, ideological goal; and deliberately target or disregard the safety of non-combatants (civilians).”  Their end is political, ideological and sometimes religious.  Their end is political, ideological and sometimes religious, usually commercial.  These governments are allowed to use force and violence to further their aims, in the name of “national security”.  In other words, they can get away with whatever they want, and people will believe it.

The fact that they define the Game, they make the rules, they determine who is “good” and who’s “evil” or criminal, means that they have absolute power.  And with this power, the governments of this world are not shy to use scare tactics with its accompanying violence to further their aims.

And to get the populace to support the government in using violence against foreigners or its own residents, it will scapegoat “The Other” as the dirty, no-good, ready-to-murder-anybody-for-the-cause plotters.  This mobilises the citizenry to back up whatever use of force the government employs in dealing with the troublemakers.

Tell me, how many years do we have to put up with this BS?  Week after week, we keep hearing about the so-called Terrorists.  We can’t bring our toothpaste on to airplanes.  We have to sometimes remove our shoes.  Now they want to do a full body scan so that airport security can see us naked on their screens.  People applying for visas to other nations can’t get them simply because they belong to a certain nationality, ethnicity or religion.

Hey, Yankee, what are YOU doing in my country!

The fracking Western countries are still in Crusade Mode against the Muslims after all these centuries.  Even though Europe by and large is Post-Christian.  The US and the former British colonies of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc. still have their fair share of Christians.  And these so-called Christ-followers are on the front lines of the deceptive Ra-ra-ra against the Muslims:

Oh dear, Muslims are coming here, having too many babies, taking over our decaying social safety net and systems.  They’re going to try and apply Sharia Law here.  Oh my, we’re going to lose our freedoms!  They’re taking over!

What a crock of Horse Pucky!   And many atheists, agnostics, people of other philosophical persuasions and religions, a lot of the Left and sure as Hades most of the Right are buying into these lies. They want to CONTINUE treating Muslims as 2nd Class citizens. Shame on them!  It’s time to stop it, for crying out loud!

Heil Hitler, anyone?

This fear-mongering is why that A**hole from my beloved grandparents’ motherland Norway went out and bombed the Parliament buildings and murdered all those innocent kids on that island.  All because he was “standing up for the Christians” against the onslaught of the Muslim “hordes”.  Anders Breivik, I am ashamed to have the same Viking blood flowing through my veins, you jerk!  If I met you myself, I’d do some non-violent Judo to you and make you smell my stinky armpits for half an hour!

This dude is extremely anti-Muslim, pro-Israel, and a self-described “Cultural Christian”.  He is definitely NOT insane.  He knows EXACTLY what he’s doing.  Trying to prove evil people are insane is really a way of getting them off the hook.  Indeed,

Breivik seeks to prove he was sane, in order to prove his actions were motivated by a political doctrine. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-18003559, accessed Jul 16, 2012)

Anders, one message for you: REPENT!  That means do a 180 degree turn, and start LOVING Muslims and immigrants.  You can do this from your prison cell too!

There are numerous others who would agree with my message in this blog post.  One of such people is John Pilger, a Australian London-based journalist who has the kajijis to call a spade a spade.  More power to you, John!

Here is another great article from another fellow West-critiquing ideologue:

Terrorism originates from the Western Colonial Powers

by Dr. Mahboob A. Khawaja

Terrorism originates from the Western colonial powers, but none would dare concede it for the FEAR of the unknown in contemporary history. When European businessmen explored  “New World” markets for diminishing resources and their armed forces invaded and occupied the vast Islamic world, there were no television, Internet, video cameras, stone throwing public and voices of reason to call them foreign mercenaries, aggressors and terrorists. The colonization scheme of things was not the outcome of the Western democratic values to spread freedom, liberty and justice.  Instead,  the result was a ferocity of violence, and the killings of millions and millions of human lives, for the Empires to be built on coloured bloodbaths. The European crusaders crossed the channels and unknown time zones to subjugate the much divided Muslim people as part of their nationalistic perception and values that said Muslims were inferior to the European race, and could be used as raw material to erect the new Empires.

Many centuries past, if there was a UNO, it would not have dared to call the European intruders as terrorists, because it would have been their own organization, while Muslims lived in slavery and denial of basic human rights and identity. In an information age, with its knowledge–driven global culture of reason, ignorance is no longer a prerequisite to learn from the living history. History speaks of the Al-Andalusia Arab civilization as the longest advanced civilization lasting for eight centuries in Europe.  Now, the Europeans identify themselves as civilized people, but the effective date for the claim remains a mystery. The previous Empires knew their geography and limits, but the newly articulated American Empire in its infancy, is challenging even the limits of the Laws of God, and appears obsessed with the “fear” of being replaced by the new emerging economically productive nations of Asia such as China, Japan and India and combination of others. President George W. Bush invoked the “War on Terrorism” as a dictum of power, not reason and wisdom, to camouflage the prospective future with acts of barbarity and to dispel the notion of accountability in global affairs. Historically, people and nations pursuing this path of behaviour have ended up in self-delusional and self-destruction.

The 9/11 attacks in the US were carried out by individuals and not inspired or supported by the religion of Islam or Muslims. Some hourly paid intellectuals, turned guardian of the approved truth, allege that Islam breeds terrorism. The Western mass media complements the self-crafted notion to poison public thinking, perceptions and source of judgments against the Arabs and Muslims as “terrorists”, making the treacherous claim that Islam was at the threshold of the paradigm. The US Neo-Conservative gang helped to rob mankind of its human heritage. The perception of ‘radical Islam’ was invented and enhanced by the ‘fear’ of terrorism, as if Arabs and Muslims were born in the eye of the storm, and terrorism was an exclusive domain of the Islamic religious tenets.

Gwynne Dyer, the prominent London-based writer (“The International Terrorist Conspiracy”) points out that “terrorism is a political technique, not an ideology and any group willing to use violence in pursuit of its political goals may resort to it.” He explains that “there are left-wing terrorists and right-wing terrorists; national terrorist and international terrorist; Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and atheist terrorists. In theory, you could have a ‘war against terrorism’, but it would involve trying to kill everybody who uses this technique anywhere in the world. The United States is not trying to do that, so it is not fighting a ‘war against terror’.”  In reality, what the United States leadership is doing is fighting its own articulated war against the people and nations who had no animosity, nor any perceived capability to threaten the US as a global power.

British author and producer Adam Curtis (The Power of Nightmares: The Rise of the Politics of Fear: BBC documentary challenging the American version of the “War on Terrorism”), spells out the myth with clarity: “international terrorism is a fantasy that has been exaggerated and distorted by politicians. It is a dark illusion that has spread unquestioned through governments around the world, the security services and the international media.” Remember, after the 9/11 attacks, the US official statements made no mention of involvement of the government or people of Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran in the accused list of the 9/11 perpetrators.  In 1997, many leading architects of the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), did include the name of Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria, PLO as selected targets to impose American liberal democracy and throw out the authoritarian regimes. It was a strategic stunt to inject fear into people’s minds. Paul Craig Roberts, co-author of the Tyranny of Good Intentions, in his recent article (“The High Price of American Gullibility”, ICH), makes a logical assertion: Bush’s rhetoric “you are with us or against us” is perfectly planned to influence the common masses. Emotional appeals to fear and to patriotism have led close to half of the population to accept unaccountable government in the name of ‘the war on terrorism’. What a contradiction it is that so many American have been convinced that safety lies in their sacrifice of their civil liberties and accountable government.  Obviously, human intelligence, emotions and perceptions, superficially turn antagonistic with the compelling impulse of media propaganda strategies to show Arabs and Muslims as the qualified candidates for extreme militancy.

Truth is one and indivisible. When it comes to terrorism and the Arabs or Muslims, the North American and European mass media portrayals enforces two distinct orders of truth – one for the general public and one reserved for the Muslims. In all human affairs, facts are considered to reach the conclusion. This conclusion cannot be assumed to play with the facts, nor can be based on dogmas, to explain the facts of human life. Under the guise of the Anti-Terrorist legislation, America, Britain and Canada have misused the logic of power to arrest, defame and punish people of Arabian and Islamic origin who had no linkage to the terrorism myth. Their strategy dictates that selected groups should be detained and tortured indefinitely, to drain out their moral, intellectual and creative energies, making them incapable to survive as socially or professionally credible citizens of the country. Consequently, the public will view them as crazy and undesirable people to be counted as numbers and digits in economic terms, but not dignified human beings.

Khawaja specializes in global security, peace and conflict resolution with keen interests in Islamic-Western comparative cultures and civilizations, and author of several publications including: “Muslims and the West: Quest for Change and Conflict Resolution”, University Press of America; How America Lost the War in Iraq and Afghanistan and Mujahideen Won; To America and Canada with Reason, VDM Publishers, 2009; “President Obama – War is War, Not Peace”, 2009; “Global Peace and Conflict Management- how wrong thinking and wickedness duped the humanity” “Images- the Militant West”, and “ President Obama and the Remaking of America.” “Egypt Wins Freedom.” Comments are welcome at: kmahboob@yahoo.com

And still another resounding voice:

Escaping from violence, crime terrorism

Why governments are your greatest threat

The news keeps telling us that the greatest threat is terrorism. This is just a cover-up for what they don´t want us to see: the real threat. Legal and government violence is a greater threat to the common man than terrorism. Due to new security measures as result of so-called “terrorism”, the government is posing a greater risk to your freedom than ever before. Since most of the developed countries are compromising your rights, the best way to protect your civil liberties is to escape to a developing country where privacy is still a possibility.

The threat of legal and government violence is very prevalent these days. Many years ago, governments didn´t tax citizens living abroad. Now the new security measures under way have governments pursuing citizens living in other countries and demanding taxes, even though those living abroad don´t use the facilities that the taxes supposedly pay for. New legal theories have lawyers terrorizing those who wish to maintain financial independence. In many places the legal system is skewed to persecute people who gain their wealth through independent means, which is why many are choosing to find countries whose legal systems protect rather threaten them.

A government´s job is supposedly to protect its citizens. However, since the Iraq war, the governments of the primarily developed world have posed more of a threat to people than any terrorist. The loss of freedom which occurred as a result of the terrorist attacks is startling indeed. Citizens of developed countries should be wary of the threat of their governments than terrorists. It started primarily in the US and Britain as civil liberties were taken away in exchange for supposed protection. What the governments protect is themselves and their own financial and political interests, not the real safety of their citizens. The US is coercing other governments to do the same to their citizens too. Many politicians, from Central and Eastern Europe, agree willingly. Others, like those from France, resist the US in public, but in fact, restrict individual freedom just the same.

The US Patriot Act and the European Union’s Internal Security Strategy (ISS) are the two biggest threats to  freedom in the Western World. They want you to believe that these legal changes to civil liberties have been enforced to fight the war on terrorism, but the sad truth is that instead governments end up violating innocent people´s privacy rights and confiscating their assets under these legal auspices.

The US Patriot Act under the Bush regime committed many egregious acts of injustice against the individual rights of its people in the name of protecting freedom. For example, confiscation of assets has been allowed under the act without bringing any kind of charges against suspects. Men and women have been locked up without any recourse as an effect of this act. Small business people are now jailed by the thousands for income tax invasion, instead of more justly being tried in a civil dispute. The Act included the right for the FBI to listen in on the conversations of lawyers with clients in federal custody, including, people who are not charged with any crime. The war on terrorism has already caused more damage to the rights of ordinary citizens than any terrorists. That is why it is important to be prepared for the possibility that anyone may be the victim of government terrorism.

With Obama taking over as president of the US, he promised many changes for the US and the world. These included returning rights to the people. So why did he just recently resign the US patriot act, when initially he had promised to revoke the entire act?  The so-called “war on terror” still continues even though it has been 9 years since the 9/11 attacks. And the European Union is in the midst of signing the Internal Security Strategy  (ISS) which will severely impact their citizen´s civil liberties.

The bleak reality is that our freedom and privacy rights are being increasingly compromised. It is absolutely imperative that as a small world citizen, you begin to look seriously at your future and the possibility of being of victim of the “war on terror”. There is still hope in securing a foothold in a developing country that can protect your rights, but as the Western World continues to secure their nations, the less likely an escape can be made.

And, as I have stated in other posts, the Western Empire’s attack on indigenous peoples (and everyone else, for that matter), for example the Turtle Island (North American) First Nations, was basically a renewed Crusade.  As the European-led Crusades were winding down against the Muslims, Columbus and his cohorts from Spain and Portugal began looking to bypass the Muslims and get to India and China for trade via another route.  When they found out the Turtle Island natives were not real Indians from India, they called them “Indian” anyway, and reeked on them all the havoc that they had given to the Muslims.  A brand new Crusade, this time against a new bunch of folks.  A new Crusade in the name of Christ, or Progress, or the Monarch, or Whatever.

That’s why all the old movies showed the Cowboys as angels and the natives as demons.  (Check out the documentary called “Reel Injun”).  Seeing aboriginal people as the “Demon-Worshipping Other” is one reason Warrior Societies that First Nations Youth form are dubbed “Terrorists”.  (Check out this article “Can Warrior Societies Survive Post-9/11?”)

Take a gander here:

Basically, the Westerners conveniently label anyone who gets in their way as “Terrorists”.  But they themselves are the real terrorists.  Just go and ask the Iraqis.  Or the Afghanis.  Or the Pakistani tribesmen.  Or the Vietnamese.  Or the First Nations.

But take a look at some of my former blog posts about how Westerners, the “White Guy” treated the original peoples of Turtle Island:

At Cholula1519 Cortes orders massacre of native Americans

Whose land is this anyway?

Massacre of Christian First Nations by white settlers in Ohio territory

Well, we’re not saying disobey everyone,

Mama mia, with Neighbourly Love shown by Westerners, I’m surprised that Anti-Christism and Anti-Westernism didn’t become new religions and ideologies.  We should have had more Marilyn Mansons, Anton Laveys and Bin Ladens running around out there.

The West has talked a lot about Love, about Democracy, about Human Rights.  At the same time, it has violated Love, Democracy and Human Rights more than any other group of people in human history.  the non-religious and the religious.  Especially the former group I was part of for 30 years, the Heaven-horrifying Pharisee-like Evangelicals, the hugest religious group in Turtle Island (North America).  The people who hijacked the Real Jesus and substituted Him with a Cowboy riding on His White Horse, fighting anyone who gets in the Westerner’s way.

Really, the Cross the Westerners have on their flags, shields, earrings, rings, paintings, graveyards does not represent the blood of Jesus Christ. No, it has nothing to do with His precious blood at all.

The Cross of the Westerner is the pain, suffering, and ultimately GENOCIDE that the West inflicts on “The Other”.  The Other’s identity depends on who presently is the Flavour of the Month.  Today, it’s the Muslim.  Yesterday it was the Communist, the Soviet.  Before that, it was the Native.  And much before that, it was the Muslim again.

We re-cycle our enemies.  And the Cross?  It is our 2-edged sword:

(1) On the one hand, we comfort ourselves with the Cross.  We deceive ourselves with the Cross, pretending that it symbolises that we are the “Good Guys”, that Yahweh has forgiven us, and He will absolutely welcome us into His Heaven.  But what if you Westerners actually DON’T make it to Heaven???

Teenagers of the world, please don’t rush out and buy one of these!

(2) The Cross is the Terror to the “Wicked”, that is, anyone we don’t like, be they Muslims, First Nations, atheists, gays, abortion seekers, evolutionists, anyone with a different accent, philosophy, creed, culture or religion.  They may view it in a totally negative light, not as the “wonderful, wonderful Cross” that you Westerners see.  The Cross into the Crossbow, or the Tank, or the Bomb dropping from your damned Western fighter jets . . .

Now, with the imminent collapse of the West, especially the US and Europe, we’ll see who is going to be the next one to be labelled “Terrorist”.  Maybe Obama.  Maybe Harper.  Maybe Cameron.  Maybe all the Fascist Western leaders and their buddies who are doing their dirty work in the non-Western countries.

As we say in Chinese:

Duō xíng bù yì, bì zì bì.

Literally: more unjust actions

= collapsing with a big bang

Basically, this idiom means: persisting in evil brings about self-destruction.

XI (pronounced “she”)

 BI (pronounced “be”)

The Chinese Description talks of the process of dying within a short time. Such as a soldier after the arrow is lodged into his chest, painfully calling out, while leaning to one side, then having his body fall down dead.  First the bleeding, then the dying.

In other modern English words: you f* others, and the Creator of the universe or whoever you believe in, will make sure you get f*ed over.

I realise that this blog post consists of some strong words.  Truth hurts, yes.  But truth also heals.  Find out the truth, and it can set you free.  Even for Westerners and their Bed-fellas.

For Westerners like myself:

For non-Westerners:

Yours for the Revolution of Love,

Note: Please don’t be offended: this is NOT Jesus / Yeshua / Isa.  This is the Western Demon that Europeans and other Westerners in Turtle Island (North America) and Australasia etc. have invented.  He has NOTHING to do with the real Isa the Messiah.

Western Christians seem to interpret “TAKE UP YOUR CROSS”
as meaning “CROSSBOW” or “MACHINE GUN”!
Don’t get up in arms, folks.  This is NOT Isa / Jesus / Yashua / Yeshua, OK!  This is an Impostor!
Muslims: I am as shocked as you are about this disgusting photo!
Read the article where I found this photo, called “SPECIAL REPORT: THE PRICE OF FEAR”  @ http://www.tennessean.com/section/PROJECTS08.

In this article, you can see that Americans and other Westerners are raking in millions of dollars as “Leaders of the so-called “anti-jihad” movement portray themselves as patriots, defending America against radical Islam.”

In this one, Americans are turning their frustration with the 2008 – present Recession to immigrants, especially Muslims:

Downturn hurts society

Benjamin Friedman, an economist at Harvard University, predicted in 2005 that an economic downturn in the U.S. could have dire consequences for society.

“History suggests that the quality of our democracy — more fundamentally, the moral character of American society — would be at risk if we experienced a many-year downturn,” he wrote in an Atlanticessay titled “Meltdown: A Case Study.”

Good economic times make for good neighbors. Bad times create bad neighbors.

Today, Friedman has seen some of his fears come true. He recently wrote in a Yale Divinity School magazine that societies lose their democratic values when most citizens don’t feel they’re making economic gains.

In a poll of more than 600 Tennesseans released this month by MTSU, 32 percent supported the idea that Muslims should have to register their whereabouts with the federal government.

Americans are living in the midst of a historic economic downturn that shows few signs of turning around. Unemployment in Rutherford County is at 8.6 percent — down from earlier in the year when it was more than 10 percent, but still more than twice as high as in 2006. Statewide unemployment hovers between 9 and 10 percent.

When revenue for state and local budgets shrinks, immigrants become a target — especially their perceived toll on education and health-care systems. And non-Christian immigrants often bear the brunt, said Katharine Donato, chairwoman of the sociology department at Vanderbilt.

In past economic slumps, Chinese immigrants were considered un-American because they were not Christians, while Catholics were ostracized for being the wrong kind of Christians.

Today, Muslims are seen as part of the problem.

But most people who dislike Muslims don’t describe their reasons so eloquently, or maybe don’t even understand the reasons. Retired Murfreesboro resident Jerry Paschal does it in one sentence: “They don’t want to be us.”

He fears Mufreesboro might become another Dearborn, Mich. His sister lives in that city, which has the highest percentage of Arab-Americans in the country. While most are Christians, many are Muslims. Arabic writing on shop signs is common.

“Tennessee is a nice place,” Paschal said. “I don’t know how long it will stay nice.”

I leave you with Guns N Roses “Civil War”:

What we’ve got here is failure to communicate.
Some men you just can’t reach…
So, you get what we had here last week,
Which is the way he wants it !
Well, he gets it !
N’ I don’t like it any more than you men.

Look at your young men fighting
Look at your women crying
Look at your young men dying
The way they’ve always done before

Look at the hate we’re breeding
Look at the fear we’re feeding
Look at the lives we’re leading
The way we’ve always done before

My hands are tied
The billions shift from side to side
And the wars go on with brainwashed pride
For the love of God and our human rights
And all these things are swept aside
By bloody hands time can’t deny
And are washed away by your genocide
And history hides the lies of our civil wars

D’you wear a black armband
When they shot the man
Who said “Peace could last forever”
And in my first memories
They shot Kennedy
I went numb when I learned to see
So I never fell for Vietnam
We got the wall of D.C. to remind us all
That you can’t trust freedom
When it’s not in your hands
When everybody’s fightin’
For their promised land

I don’t need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
You’re power hungry sellin’ soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain’t that fresh
I don’t need your civil war

Look at the shoes you’re filling
Look at the blood we’re spilling
Look at the world we’re killing
The way we’ve always done before
Look in the doubt we’ve wallowed
Look at the leaders we’ve followed
Look at the lies we’ve swallowed
And I don’t want to hear no more

My hands are tied
For all I’ve seen has changed my mind
But still the wars go on as the years go by
With no love of God or our human rights
and all these dreams are swept aside
By bloody hands of the hypnotized
Who carry the cross of homicide
And history bears the scars of our civil wars

We practice selective annihilation
Of mayors and government officials
For example to create a vacuum
Then we fill that vacuum
As popular war advances
Peace is closer

I don’t need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
You’re power hungry sellin’ soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain’t that fresh
And I don’t need your civil war
I don’t need your civil war
I don’t need your civil war
You’re power hungry sellin’ soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain’t that fresh
I don’t need your civil war
I don’t need one more war

I don’t need one more war
Whaz so civil ’bout war anyway?

About sleepless in turtle island

Hi, I´m Dimitri. I have lived in Turtle Island for awhile now, so my cultural understanding is slowly improving. Also, I can see things in this place that boggle my mind. Thus this blog...
